REM BAR
Canal Street’s original Gay bar serving the community for over 60 years and still the friendliest, attitude free, venue in the village. The pub has occupied the site from before 1851 when the Canal was the M1 of it’s day transporting textiles from the Pennines to Liverpool and then all corners of the globe. Our history is important to us, Rembar makes no apology for being a community pub where respect is our priority, intolerance won’t be tolerated here.

Village community local, serving a range of premier drinks at reasonable prices. Relaxed friendly atmosphere with large canal-side alfresco seating area serving tapas at the weekend.
